What type of boat should I get?
I want a fishing boat that has the main fishing boat features like a live-well and rod holders, but I want one that can be used as a sport boat for wake-boarding too, and that's comfortable for my family of four. It will be used in a shallower bay so it can not have a deep draft or be an inboard/outboard engine
Looks like your options are a bit limited. Your best bet is a Fish&Ski 18 or 19 footer with 115 to 150 outboard. Room will be scarce, especially since much of it will require livewell, tackle compartments, etc.
As for a shallow draft with any ski boat or Fish&Ski, that's quite hard to find. It won't be as bad as a typical V hull I/O with the sterndrive, but its still going to need plenty of room with for that outboard lower unit.
Not a fan of trying to do both fishing and sking with the same boat. The lack of room is bad enough, the smell can be even worse...
