would someone know how to find out the year of a boat motor?
I am trying to find out the year of a old johnson boat motor it is the pull start kind and is green the numbers on it are 627780 and VD 80 if anyone could tell me the year that would be great my husband has it on his 1960 boat and it runs we went fishing a couple days ago thanks again
Please double check the numbers again. I can not find them in the reference charts. For Johnson motors, you need the Model Number to determine the year. See attached links for the type of numbers to look for.,
