what should i pack?
im going on a 12 hr drive. and going to my grandparents house in kentucky and to kentucky lake for 7 days. i dont know what to pack! im leaving tomorrow morning.
im 15 and a girl..
and we will be jet skiing..
TONS AND TONS OF SUNSCREEN AND INSECT REPELANT!!!!!
I don't know if West Nile Virus has ht Kentucky or not but it has where I live (Chicago) and a friend of mine still can't move her legs after over a year of physical therapy!!
And I'm a red head... So I KNOW about sun poisoning... Apply TONS AND TONS of sunscreen...

Light weight, long sleeve shirts...
Light weight, long pants...
Swim Suit... A big beach towel, if you have one...
Bring 3 extra pairs of both underwear and socks... I have done a LOT of traveling and this has been the BEST THING I have ever figured out... You NEVER KNOW what will happen and it is always good to have extra socks and, more importantly, underwear.
It will be hot out... It will he HUMID... Sticky and nasty... So you need to focus on light weight day ware...
But remember to bring a zip up hoodie because it WILL get chilly at night and when you are sitting outside looking at the stars... you will be very happy you brought a hoodie with you!!
