Is it legal for a 13 year old almost 14 drive a Jet Ski alone?
My family is thinking about buying a jet ski for our local lake. (lake conroe) and wondered how old i have to be to drive it without a passenger. And where to go to get a licence to drive one if i need one.

Luke, shut the heck up. im not a baby. i hate you people that think u have to be wrapped up in 10 inches of bubble wrap to be able to ride your bike down the street. so if your like that don't even bother answering.
actually you can look on your tpaw website and it'll tell you you have to take a course to ride alone.
Mandatory Boater Education Requirements
A TPWD certified boater education course and photo I.D. is required for any person born on or after September 1, 1984 to operate (1) a vessel powered by motor of 10 horsepower or more; or (2) a windblown vessel over 14 feet in length. **Boater Education courses from other states are acceptable if NASBLA (National Association of State Boating Law Administrators) approved.
