ok i have a 87 550 kawasaki jet ski i just put in a new starter solenoid and it worked for a few minutes.....?
then it stoped working it just makes a clicking sound ,i took out the starter and hooked everything up adn grounded it to the exuast and it worked but when i bolt it back in it doesnt work it jut clicks, take it out it works bolt it back in and it doesnt work please help
you have a bad ground, run a wire from the battery ground to the starter mounting bolt and see if it works, if it does clean area around where starter meets engine
