Yamaha waverunner?
Earlier I was on my jet ski, and we was rafting 3 of us actually. Anyways when I went to go the rope got under the jet ski and got sucked in. So I got off the waverunner and tryed and tryed to pull it out, it wouldn't come out. I had to end up being towed to the nearest dock. How can I get this thing out now? Please help. I don't want to take it to the dealer.
Remove the intake grate, then remove the spark plugs and disconnect the battery. Grab hold of any of the rope you can, and pull while someone turns the engine coupler backwards. That should get it all out.
Have the two other nuts that helped you screw it up do the work while you supervise!
Really, that usually works to get it out. You wouldn't believe how many I have had to "unwrap". Many folks don't pay enough attention! Avoid hammers and knives, they will only mess it up worse. If you can't get it all out as I described, the pump may need to come off.
